Privacy
This policy explains what personal data this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It is written in plain English. “I” and “me” mean Vinod G., who runs this site and is responsible for your data (the “Data Fiduciary” under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023).
The short version
- This site has no accounts and stores no form submissions.
- The review form only opens WhatsApp with a message you choose whether to send.
- Analytics load only after you interact with a page, and you can turn them off below.
- I never sell your data.
What is collected, and why
When you message me on WhatsApp
If you use the free-review form or a WhatsApp button, WhatsApp opens with a pre-filled message. The details you type (name, business, what you need help with, your number) go to me only if you press send in WhatsApp. I use them to reply, arrange the review and, if we work together, to provide the service. WhatsApp is operated by Meta, and its own privacy policy applies to the message itself.
Analytics and advertising measurement
After your first tap, key press or scroll on a page, this site may load Google Tag Manager, which can run Google Analytics 4, the Meta Pixel and Google Ads conversion tracking. These record things like which pages you visited, the link or ad that brought you, your device type and approximate location, and whether you submitted the review form. They use cookies or similar identifiers. I use this to see which pages, posts and ads bring enquiries, and to measure my own advertising. Google and Meta process this data under their own terms.
What is not collected
The site does not use the form to store anything on a server, does not ask for payment details, and does not knowingly collect data from children.
How long it is kept
WhatsApp conversations are kept while we are in touch and for as long as needed for any work we do together, and deleted on request when no longer needed. Analytics data is kept according to the retention settings of the tools above, set to the shortest period that still allows month-to-month comparison.
Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can:
- ask what personal data I hold about you and how it is used;
- ask me to correct, complete or update it;
- withdraw consent and ask me to erase it;
- nominate another person to exercise these rights on your behalf;
- raise a grievance with me, and if it is not resolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
To use any of these rights, message me on WhatsApp. I will respond as quickly as I can, and within the time the law requires.
Turn analytics off
You can stop this site from loading analytics and advertising measurement in this browser. The choice is saved only in your browser.
You can also block cookies in your browser settings, or use the opt-out tools Google and Meta provide.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes too.
